Final Submission for First-Year Architectural Students – Studio Design Project

On Tuesday, February 4, 2025, first-year students from the Architectural Design Branch completed their final submission for the Studio Design Project. The project aimed to expand students' understanding of key design aspects that contribute to a successful outcome, including:

  1. Information Gathering – The initial phase of design serves as an opportunity to collect essential data about the project, including its requirements.

  2. Concept Development – Establishing a clear architectural identity and design direction. The concept should reflect user needs and provide solutions to challenges surrounding the project.

  3. Site Analysis – Designing a studio requires thoughtful decisions to ensure the project integrates well with its surroundings.

  4. Interior Space Planning – Organizing required spaces and transforming them into key design elements while determining their locations based on functional relationships. Effective spatial coordination enhances movement flow within the studio.

  5. Aesthetic Considerations – The design aims to achieve visual appeal by selecting appropriate materials and colors, creating an inviting and engaging environment for users.
